Kuala Lumpur: Asian clubs getting into the two-legged quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League 2012 and AFC Cup 2012 are awaiting the official draws slated to take place at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur on June 14 which will be streamed live on www.the-afc.com.

Unlike previous years, there will be no Japanese club in the fray while Saudi Arabia is the only country having three representatives in Al Ahli, Al Ittihad and Al Hilal.

Playing home matches in the round of 16, two-time ACL winners Al Ittihad and Al Hilal got the better of Persepolis FC and Baniyas respectively while Al Ahli had a difficult time in the UAE winning their match against Al Jazira 4-2 in penalty shootouts.

Sepahan are the sole representatives from Iran as they defeated fellow Iranian rivals Esteghlal 2-0.

Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor stunned 2010 ACL winners Seongnam Ilwha Chunma 1-0 away in Korea to feature in the June 14 draw.

Ulsan Hyundai, 3-2 winners over Japanese debutants Kashiwa Reysol, are the only representatives of Korea Republic while 2008 runners-up Adelaide United of Australia and World Cup winner Marcelo Lippi-led, big-spending Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande are amongst the eight teams to know their fate on June 14.

The two-leg quarterfinals will be played in September and October, 2012.

The AFC Cup draw is the first item on the agenda on June 14 at 3 o'clock local time followed by the ACL draw one hour later.

The AFC Cup draw will present continental diversity with eight clubs coming from different countries. The draw will feature Chonburi FC (Thailand), Al Shorta (Syria), Kuwait SC (Kuwait), Al Ettifaq (Saudi Arabia), Arema Indonesia (Indonesia), Kelantan (Malaysia), Arbil (Iraq) and Al Wehdat (Jordan).
